Why I hate quick-money-making schemes online

Tell me to buy into some program because I will make six to seven figures in a week, I will be out of there before the exit grabber pop up appears. I know I could actually be leaving money on the table but then I use what stock traders call a “stop loss” whereby they sell a share if it goes below a certain price no matter its future profit potential. I don’t buy a program or system if it promises me a quick buck that seems out of the ordinary. You can promise me to make money with your ebook or program but do not tell me I will make seven figures within a twinkling of an eye.

I subscribe to this internet marketing strategy as my internet marketing stop loss technique to avoid being scammed or “accidentally” applying black hat tactics to my internet marketing business. Sometimes stop losses work but sometimes they cause you to leave money on the table but I have found that 80% of the time they help me avoid a potential disaster.

Please understand me well here, I am not talking about fixing a problem you have been over looking and costing you money – an advise to correct a mistake I embrace and it is all well and good.

If I should borrow from the Holy Bible,

“Everything has a time and a season, a time to grow and a time to die a time to sow and a time to reap…”. I simply choose to follow this biblical principle.

Here is why I believe internet marketing quick-money-making schemes are dangerous.

- You can lose it all in an instant: it is like gambling and gambling is addictive: you will never own a real business but will always be looking for a quick fix, sometimes you will win and sometimes you will lose it all. At the end of the day you will stay stressed and wondering if you have made the right “bet’ this time. I do not want to own a business that will cause me to lose my sleep. I do not want to own a business I can not budget around and one that am not sure about its sustainability. I don’t want a business that will control me – that’s why I quit my job, I wanted independence and plenty of time for myself and family!

- You can get scammed easily: If you fall for anything that comes your way, chances of being scammed online are high. I never buy from someone I don’t know or is not recommended by my most trusted online mentors.

- You can get into the wrong side of the law: Buying and implementing any program you find may land you in jail if it violates some certain rights and intellectual property.

- You can get penalized by online giants & lose out on profits: try buying a couple PR 7 links when you are just setting up your site and you will see what I am talking about. Ever heard of the Google sandbox. Worse, if you get reported for buying links who knows how bad the consequences can be.

Do not base your internet marketing business strategies on your desperate need for quick money. Yes money is what we are all after but learn to love the business as well. Google operated for years without making a cent because the guys loved what they did. People fell in love with the search engine and when the time was right they monetized. Today the founders are billionaires and are still pumping in even more money.

Let me repeat it again, I hate internet marketing quick fixes because they are just that. They make it hold for a day or two and then it will need another fix again. Maybe I am not being practical when it comes to the dynamic online world – I don’t know – you tell me – I do stand corrected.

Yes, some people will always get scammed because of greed… its a strange thing indeed.

  10. There are actually a lot of opportunities online that can turn those promises into realities. As long as the program can live up to its promise, then there’s really nothing wrong into communicating the program in that sense considering that it does attract a lot potential customers. Its basically the same as in conventional advertising of products that promise optimum results.

  11. Never trust those. If those are really true, we would have many rich people. But you don’t so never accept those quick-money-making schemes.

Don’t let greed get the better of you.

This really speaks to me. I get hundreds of those “buy my ebook and get rich by earning 3 million a year on auto pilot emails and they really irritate me. I actually did throw some money away on a couple of them before I got wise to them. Your approach is a fresh and welcome one.
