Or maybe I should ask, how long does one remain an internet beginner? This blog was designed to offer free services to beginners in internet marketing but as the subscriber base expands on a daily basis and people start making real money online, I find myself asking the question, who is an internet marketing beginner? Or how long does one remain one?

Personally I think it is about how much you make online. As long as you don’t make real money, then you are a beginner. It is like being in first grade for ever. You keep repeating the same grade over and over again. No matter how many times you repeat it is still first grade and you are still a beginner.

Experience with Internet marketing

Internet marketing has been there since the advent of the internet. For example, Amazon’s affiliate program was started in 1996, which means there were IM using affiliate marketing at that time. Otherwise why would Amazon venture into such a strategy if there was no one to implement it.

The point is, there are people who have been IM for many years but have not started making any real money online. Statistics show that only about 1% of IMs are getting 90% of the money online. So in my opinion you are a beginner as long as you don’t fall within the 1% that is making real money online. With that, this blog is for you even if you’ve been online for a number of years.

Change your perception

Never underestimate what freshmen like me can contribute to your knowledge. It is not about working longer or harder but is about working smarter. I have landed on some truly valuable internet marketing strategies, most of which are very basic but still they help me generate a lot of money online.

Start looking at every one as a source to help you learn something new. However, do not allow just about anyone to offer some advise to you. I usually go for those who are recommended by people I trust. I have built a network of good mentors through this system.

Change your strategy

One very important person in my life said,

“in order to get something you’ve nothing had before, you need to do something you never done in your life”

As people, we keep doing the same things over and over again and expect our living standards to change. We never want to take a risk and try something new. You’ve been in that same boring-low paying job for years yet you expect to become wealthy someday. How is that possible? Beats me!
