We’ve wrapped up 2008 with its ups and downs. It was the year of the credit crunch and dismal stock market performance. As a stock market trader it wasn’t a good year at all but to me as an Internet Marketer – 2008 was a good year.I made more money online than I have ever done in previous years. In fact it was my 2nd year of being online and overall I managed to make $5000 from Google Adsense alone. I know to many of you this is nothing to write home about but to me it was really great especially because 2008 was my experimental year.

2009 is in and I have great Internet marketing strategies up my sleeve. This year I plan to diversify my income from Google Adsense – something I started initiating in the last quarter of 2008. I also plan to source most of my traffic from article marketing other than just search engines. All in all I plan to increase my monthly income to $10 000+.

Let me break it all down for you:

* I quit my job at the end of 2008 and am in the process of incorporating my online marketing business. It will basically be based on an advertising network model. More about it as it unfolds.

* I am diversifying from Adsense and putting Adsense VRE on autopilot: I now make just about enough money to outsource link building. I now use Get A freelancer to find freelancers that I can use to build links for my niche sites.

* I will create more Adsense sites on autopilot: I now use freelancers to write articles for me. I do the keyword research myself because I love it. I will soon be buying Xsite pro to speed up the process of creating my niche sites.

* I am diversifying to Amazon Associate: Today I just cashed my first Amazon cheque – 12 months after signing into this program. I plan to get them monthly like I do with Google cheques. How? Keep reading this blog you will find out how I do it. By the way 2 weeks ago I got a referral fee of $40 for just 1 item at Amazon. If you thought Amazon Associate program didn’t pay – think again.

* I will be focusing fully on TrafficSynergy Affiliate Network Click Here – a South African based Affiliate Network. I have already started receiving money from them but I hear some of their affiliates make above a million per annum. I plan to find out how they do it and also make a million – this year?

* I plan to write articles for traffic not links: I spent 24 months writing articles to build links. I ignored advice from my mentors about the need to focus on getting the readers to click through to my sites. After receiving more than 10,000 visitors from 1 article in 2008 – I know better now.

Overall I plan to spend money to make money and also dedicate most of my time to this business venture. I have tested my Internet marketing strategies and discovered those that work. 2009 is a year to put the best of them to action. Look out for an update on this article next year – 2010.
