Here Is The Reason Why People Fail To Make Money Online
I was just about to hit the sack when a thought suddenly crossed my mind. In fact I was just starring at my Adsense earnings for the day (a bad habit of mine that wastes my time) and then I thought,” I really need to work hard if I am to meet my 2009 earnings target”
Right there I realised something about what gurus tell you about making money online. That is – it’s easy. Well after 3 years of being online I can safely say it is not. The best thing about it is that start up costs are very low but the making money part is not any easier than your 8 to 5 job.
Okay I know I am going to make a few people angry here but I have since realised that most people never make it online because when they started some guru promised them a “quick money making scheme“. Most people fall for these LIES and venture into internet marketing without any good business model.
6 months down the line you find that you haven’t made a cent and you start to think maybe it is all just a scam. I have met people who seriously think Google Adsense does not work – period. I mean I am getting married in two weeks and am using Adsense to pay for my wedding. In my first year (immature and very very inexperienced) of being serious with Adsense I made $5000 USD and need I tell you what I make today.
Anyway my point is, as long as you let yourself to believe that you do not need to have a good business model, well developed internet marketing strategies and a long-term plan then you will fail.
Forget the lies the gurus have been feeding you. Internet marketing is serious business and you need to work at it like any other. True in time it will start to bring in more cash than the effort you put in but isn’t it the same with any other business?
So change your mindset and start thinking about your internet marketing “endeavours” as a business and not a way to make quick money. If you are into gambling and instant cash then I suggest you try somewhere else and not online – unless of course you are thinking about scamming people, which I do not condone.

Great post and thank you for saying what I have been feeling. Just this past week reviewed what I have been doing and see what I have been doing wrong. It hurts because what I know now to do right, is not what I was doing. All that time and effort is wasted except as a lesson learned. Revamping and hoping that going forward I will start making money.
An affiliate marketer may have all the things needed for him to be able to succeed in a business such as affiliate marketing. He may have the necessary drive, diligence and perseverance to be able to understand how the system works. He may have all the tools necessary in maintaining the business, including a really unique and interesting website which could earn him a fortune if only the whole world could see it. However, all these would prove useless if he does not know how to drive traffic to his website. His business would sink into oblivion together with all the sales, fortune and dreams that he might have realized if he only knew how to do this particular task.
