Fix Your Beginner’s errors First Before Moving On

Fix Your Beginner’s errors First Before Moving On

Today I had a lengthy talk with a friend of mine about the subject of a bleak future – I mean in terms of losing hope and simply giving up on life. I felt the need to share it on this Internet marketing strategy block because I feel my recommendations are strategic and can lead to great success even in your pursuit for online success. This friend of mine was has been feeling discouraged because he kept hitting a wall every time he tried to get a break through some challenges in his life. He felt like he had lost his spiritual connection and things were not working out for him. I honestly felt his pain and I do hope that my 2 cents comments made a difference in his life.

You see, I personally think it is all well and good to “repent” and realize that you created your own mess and it is up to you to change it but you also need to try and clean it up.

Think of someone who builds a house and messes with the wiring, if the bad wiring damages the bulbs and have to be changed continuously – wouldn’t it be clever to actually hire another electrician to rewire once and for all. Meaning, having to go back to fix a mistake done in the beginning instead of buying more new bulbs.

Enough about bulbs, my point is,

The chat with my friend got me thinking about how we make mistakes in our internet marketing businesses and instead of going to fix them once we realize the errors, we move on with the next idea and pile it up on a bunch of uncorrected mistakes. I am totally against this notion, whether its about your IM business or personal life.

As you get to grips with Internet marketing, you will make errors that you will only discover once you are well seasoned. I made a lot of mistakes when I first started out and I still do even today. One thing I have learnt to do though, is that once I realize my past mistakes, I take sometime to go back and fix them. I have had to restructure my early niche sites and had to learn to use a 301 redirect. I signed up with a wrong hosting company and had experienced terrible service and inconsistencies that got one of my top sites de-indexed from Google. I wrote an article about how to choose the right web hosting company.

My point is, do not continue growing your internet marketing business without fixing the errors of your past – doing this will be cost you a lot of money in the future. So as you read the posts in this blog and realize some errors you have made, do go back and try to fix them before moving forward with the next bid idea.
